  1. Start the app in Google Drive through the home screen icon and sign in with your Google account.

If you want to upload your photos to Google Drive through your Android mobile phone or tablet, what you have to do is start the appropriate application for this service that you will find on the home screen.

After starting an application in Google Drive, if you are not already signed in with your Google account, you can do so through the login screen displayed. This app uses the same Google account you previously linked to the mobile device (as described in this guide), but you can always add a new one. If necessary, click your profile icon at the top right and click Add another account.

Next, tap on the Record card, which you’ll find in the bottom bar, and select the folder where you want to upload photos. Alternatively, press the + icon below and choose the item File, to create a new folder.

Now press the + icon and then choose the article Download, to display the list of photos and videos saved in your Android device’s memory. With the ☰ icon, at the top left, you can select the type of file that will be saved in the cloud and the folders in which it is located. For example, if you want to save Whatsapp photos to Google Drive, select Items Gallery > WhatsApp Photos.
