Bill Russell winning 11 NBA championships in 13 years for the Boston Celtics.

The 11-time NBA champion, passed away on July 31 at the age of 88.

Russell’s No. 6, will not be issued again by any NBA team.

There were many people questioning to NBA to honor the man who did so much for basketball.

Moving forward, any new players will not wear his number 6.
